Does anyone marinate your meat and then freeze it for use at another time? That way it is already to use and marinated days or weeks later???

no - I never marinated it then froze it - I usually thaw it then marinate it.

HA! I wish I could do that- sounds like a great idea, but around my house if there is meat it gets eaten! I am a big time red meat eater.

I do. i buy large family pack chicken breasts. I repackage them in zip lock bags adding different marinades.

Exactly what I do!!! It really does save on time with chicken and pork.......all you have to do is warm up the oven and then put the frozen meat in the pan to bake (of course it takes a little longer with it frozen) and wait for it to cook while getting the sides ready :)

I even do this with ground turkey and beef......I just use the same basic dry ingredients I ALWAYS put almost everything, pepper, garlic powder and a little salt, and freeze. I saw where you can always cook the meat for just say spagettii and freeze it until you are ready to use it....Haven't tried that just yet............

Same here! Hmm... I've gotta try this. We always marinade our meats but only after we thaw them first. This would save a lot of time! ;) Thanks T! :D
