It's just now 7am and I have been up for about 2 hours, starting to cook dinner. My whole family is getting together for dinner this afternoon to celebrate my brothers 35th birthday. Also, my Dad is having knee replacement surgery on Thursday, so this was the last chance we had to get everyone together before his operation. It looks like we have a confirmed 22 guests.
Here is the menu:
A HUGE, honey and brown sugar glazed ham with pineapple rings and cherries
Potato salad (for those who don't like mashed potatoes)
Mashed potatoes (for those who don't like potato salad)
Green beans
Baked beans
Corn on the cob
Biscuits
Corn bread (because it is Dad's favorite)
Plus we have a sheet cake for desert.
I think we are going to have a great get together! You are welcome to stop in and eat if you are in the neighborhood LOL
