scent for your house? Do you spray air freshener, burn candles, or is the smell of Pine-Sol good enough? I use a peach scented air freshener and my favorite candle scent is vanilla. How about you?

Because I have a bird, I cannot use any sprays or candles. I don't want her to keel over and die!

I also have a lot of problems with cleaners (they give me sinus problems). So now I use Simply Green. It smells like licorice and is pretty good!

If I want my house to smell, I can always boil up some cinnamon in a pot with water...it is a natural way to clear away odors. Or, you can use vinegar in a bowl (soaks up smells).

I do like lovely scented bath gels and body washes, though! Won't give THOSE up. :)

Me too!! :D I LOVE candles and black cherry smells so good.

But If I just got done mopping the floors then I don't burn any candles and just enjoy the smell of pine sol. I swear, I love the smell stuff. Almost enough to drink it if it wasn't bad for me. :o LOL

I burn apple cinnamon candles by Glade or I also like Hazelnut 3 wick candles that you get at Walmart for under $3....they burn for days. Occassionally will use Vanilla candles.

I don't burn candles to much unless I can stay in the room the candle is burning in. With cats I am afraid they will knock it over and catch something on fire.
So I usually use plugins or the oil plugins.

a member here (sea-shell) sells the most awesome smelling candles and tarts! I ordered several scents over the summer and I have to say that her "clean cotton" is my absolute favorite! I burn the tarts ALL the time and everyone who comes into my house compliments me on how clean the house smells :)

So if I am having unexpected company, I throw everything in the launderoom and shut the door and light a tart... no one ever knows that I didn't just clean LOL

We have the scented oils in each room in the house. All different ones. The cat can't hurt those. But candles do burn in the evening or when company is here for atmosphere. Buttercream, cotton candy, lavendar, gingerbread, chocolate plus a bazillion others.

I usually use vanilla or pear scented candles. Lately I've been using Febreze Air meadows and rain spray...i love the way it smells.
Pine-Sol is about the only cleaner I never use, I don't like the smell of pine.
