is NUTS? I am two days behind in applying payments, three days behind in invoicing, three WEEKS behind in filing. I have spent the last two days trying to reconcile a report from the first of the month with an adding machine tape from the end of the month, when I don't have access to the data I need, but I'm told, "Well, you BETTER get it done" and "Well, you BETTER MAKE time to do the filing." I haven't had a lunch break for two weeks, but if I go into overtime, I get chewed out for that. Anyway, wanna know how I spent 45 minutes this morning? PULLING THE SCRAPS OF PAPER OUT OF THE SHREDDER HEAD with a pair of hemostats! !!!!?????? That was the most important thing the office manager could think of! Thanks for letting me vent - I feel better. I'm going home tonight and polish up my resume.

I do not think it is nuts. I kind of know how you feel. The pressure at my office is taking its toll on so many at work. We are only one person.
how much can we do.
I hope it gets better for you. In Nevada it is against the law not to give an employee a lunch break. I hope they are paying you for working thru lunch.

You only have so many hours in a day and so many days in a week. Don't work the overtime. Go to lunch. It will get done when it gets done. I worked like that for many years and was working overtime and then from home just to keep up. I ended up having a nervous breakdown.

Believe me when I say it isn't worth it.
