My oldest son woke up Sunday morning with a stomach virus. It carried over into yesterday and he had to miss his first day of school this year. He started feeling better yesterday evening and returned to school today. So far so good. I guess it was a 24 hour type of thing.
Also on Sunday morning Courtney woke up and didn't feel so good. She was awake maybe an hour before she threw up too. She only did it that one time though. I did have to give her some Tylenol because she had a slight fever. She has been a little whiney but ok.
Harley woke up sneezing and coughing a little on Sunday morning so I gave him a dose of cold medicine and he seemed to be fine until today. He got up about 6:50am (he ususally sleeps until a least 8) and he just got up in the rocking chair, got the throw and covered up. He asked for a cup and just watched some tv. He didn't look good though so I asked if he was ok and he said no, his head hurts. I felt of him and he felt a little warm so I gave him a dose of Motrin. He hasn't played at all today. He looks so bad in his eyes and you can just tell he feels really bad. About 2pm I took his temp and it was up to 102.0 :( I gave him another dose of Motrin and he seems to be feeling a little better, not much though.
I woke up today to an earache and sore throat. I feel like all of the life has been drained out of me and I don't wanna do a thing.
The only one that I know of that isn't sick is DH but I haven't heard from him yet today. He will be home in about 2 hours or so.
I hate it when my kids are sick. I hate it when I'm sick. I really hate it when we are all sick. :(

Thanks everyone. DH is gone taking Harley (our 4 yr old) to the hospital because he has a fever of 102.0 and we can't get it to come down any. He doesn't want to do anything but lay and sleep. That is so not like him at all. I know he's really sick and feeling really bad. :( I was going to go with them but DH said there wasn't any sense in us taking all three kids and someone would have to sit with the other 2 in the waiting room so he took him since I can't drive. I'm worried sick about him. :( Please pray that he's ok and its nothing serious.

Yeah, I've tried everything I could think of today and I could not get his temp down to normal. I was doing the every 2 hours with motrin & tylenol too. I hate when my kids get sick. I worry myself to death and can't sleep and well yall know how it is.
DH & Harley still haven't made it home. I tried calling the cell but it goes straight to the voice mail. DH probably left it in the car though. Hopefully they will either be here or call me soon.
The other two seem to be doing much better this evening. Courtney is clearing out her toy box as I type this and Chris is watching some tv. :)
I'll update on Harley as soon as I can. Thanks everyone! :)

Bless your heart I am sorry to hear that everyone was ill. I know what you mean. My 6 year old daughter has had a croop virus for almost 2 weeks now and it really hit her hard about 4 days ago. She has ran a pretty high fever off and on and has a terrible cough and her little throat is just full of mucus. She is in misery. I haven't been getting much sleep due to her terrible coughing and I pray that whatever this is that it passes soon. I hope that everyone in your family feels better very soon. *hugs*

I know it is hard but try not to worry to much. The hospital could be busy in emergency. If your in a large city that is a good chance. I live in a smaller area and have seen our emergency rooms backup.
Your husband may have turned his cell off at the hospital as well. Most hospitals ask that you turn them off because they can interfer with some of there equipment.
Hopefully you will hear something soon.

I'm sure everything will be fine. :) If anything is wrong, your child is in the perfect place for something to be wrong. But, I'm sure it's just a normal kid illness.
I went to the Dr yesterday and he gave me antibiotics because he said I have a sinus infection. I've been coughing violently in fits and spurts for 2 weeks now. Tonight on the news, they talked about a whooping cough outbreak. I played a soundbyte of what the whooping cough sounds like, and sure enough it sounds like my cough! I had no idea! I was just gasping for air between violent hacks and it does sound like a whoop!
Anyway, please let us know the results. *hugs*

**Update**
They got home around 11:30 last night. Harley has an upper respiratory infection thats been caused by a viral infection/virus. There is nothing they can do for it, it just has to run its course. They gave him two different doses of Tylenol while they were there and he still had a fever of 100.0. I know thats not very high and it is way better than 102.0. They just said for us to continue giving him Tylenol OR Motrin for his fever. That doctor said he wouldn't recommend giving one and then a few hours giving the other. He said he doesn't think it seems to work as well. I disagree though. I've always been told to switch up the medicines in 2 hour doses if the fever is high. His fever now isn't high enough to do that but when it was 102.0 it was. But anyway, he had another dose of medicine this morning and he seems to be feeling much better. He's been up playing and following me around the house as I cleaned. lol
Thank you all for the replies, well wishes, hugs and prayers. :) (((Hugs)))

Glad to hear it isn't something real serious. Hopefully yesterday was the worst for his fevers spiking up, maybe now they will stay down some for you.
Sounds like he is feeling a little better if he is playing. Just remember it is normal for them to start feeling bad and fevers to go up some when it starts to become evening. At least everyone I have talked to says their children would always get worse when evening and night would come.
