Now, NO NO BE MAD OR FLAME ME...I have been "blessed" I swear in so many ways lately, but I HAVE TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have this job, ok a good job, pays well, hours, M-F..and mind you before I start, I had been beaten by the BF, and have to pack my house without him, so this is trying anyways..oh, and pack him..no matter..I feel SOOOO BAD..so many on BBS have a hard time and NO JOBS, and losing HOPE, but in my case, I dunno, if I wanna write this, but I am going to..
I have a great BOSS, as a PERSON, and he had been GIVEN my by my COMPANY to replace a person, and that did happen, but took 3 weeks, and I couldn't stand her, and KNEW they were going to FIRE her, and she freaked out by my PRESENCE, and she KNEW, in her heart of heart's what was gonna happen, this alone, hurt my feelings to be there and do this.. and if efforts to THWART UNEMPLOYMENT, turns out they were going to PAY HER ANYWAYS..so NOW it is MY account, but my BOSS keeps hiring people who make no SENSE to hire, have no culinary background or he hires the first guy in the DOOR, and for WHAT..nothing, these people are nice people, but don't PLAY ON A TEAM, and I can't manage them, the COOK, I did have is sent off to another account for 2 weeks, so I am the ONLY COOK< and it is so ANGRYING..I do all the work, at 2:00 all my employees leave,they don't LEAVE..they RUN OUT THE DOOR.. I am at 12 hours OVER TIME..I know MOST would KILL for this..but it isn't MY SHOW as PROMISED, and everytime something goes WRONG and IT DOES..weekly..and I gotta move..I got things to do, today I had to stay and make Lasagna, and a Mexican Buffet, slice meats and cheese's for other things.. for TOMMOROW, if NOT, I am DEAD..and I have a STUPID MEETING from 2:00 til 6:30 tommorow..NO one wants to HELP..but EVERYONE want's thier "KUDO'S"and I can't MANAGE this FREAKING KITCHEN, and I have NO HELP..and NO ONE TELL'S me I am great..so I am pissy, and we get in TEMP'S at a rate of $18.50, the temp get's $10.00 and FOR WHAT,( they are NEVER QUALIFIED, and don't want to MUCH MORE THAN GET PAID).. my LABOR is SKY HIGH..I can't OFF SET this alone..IF I had some of the BBS FAMILY here, YA'll would have jobs..most I have can barely use a knife.. or put SALT in TUNA SALAD, which has to be in there for enough for 40 people...much less follow any direction and I get SPOKEN to on this and I have NO ONE..I started at 4:30 AM and left at 3:58 PM..and this is MONDAY..so by Wednesday, I should be at 18 hours OVERTIME, ( we go Wednesday to Wednesday),and I gotta MOVE...WAHHAA!!!!
If any of you have anyone in Minneapolis, and think they can cook..or cashier, and be a PART OF A TEAM..LET ME KNOW..SERIOUSLY, DEAD SERIOUS..

Wow! Do you do catering and are cooking everything yourself? It should like you need to start screaming at someone about the help they are hiring and what you are doing to keep up.

Talk to your boss and lay it on the line. You can't do this much longer or you will be on the ground literally.

Catdance, I know this is off topic but every time I read one of your posts, I wonder.

You have an interesting cadence to the way you write and your sentence structure is unusual. I sometimes find it hard to follow.

I was wondering if English is not your first language? If no, what country are you from?

Seems like your boss needs to either start hiring people with more experience or start helping you do all the work you're left with because of the people with no experience.

You shouldn't be working the way you are. Even if you're getting paid what you want to be paid, you should be getting double for all the work you're doing.

And don't feel bad about getting it all out. :)

I am a BONIFIDE American, born in Chicago, Illinois..not from any other country, but do speak a few other languages..My Mother and my Teachers have always thought I had a "different COMMAND" of the English Langauge, I admit to having a reasonably high IQ, and I think my mind works differently than some, and often more quickly..I am not offended, at all, rather I feel a high compliment..I think... :) !
