I cannot stand my DSL!!! Since Friday it has timed out, stopped connecting and so on. I do everything they tell me to do, and it only works when I speak with a tech and they "fiddle with something." (though they deny this).

I am very polite and kind to them because I have done phone customer service and know it is a thankless job.

After hours of me trying to fix it.....(doing exactly what the guy tells me on the phone....)....nothing!

Finally I get through after several hang ups, call backs and so on....

I ask them, do you see anything wrong on your end? Oh, no, nothing here, ma'am.

Boloney... Funny, it works (temporarily) after they "examine" it....???

Dial up was better than this. I can't wait until my contract expires with them.

Can't they send someone out to look at it and see what the problem is? I don't know much about DSL.

We had DSL, and had nothing but problems. I keep a detailed log or of error messages and problems I had. I took names and ticket number each and every time I had to call, noted what the problem was and what the techs had me do to fin it. Then I began to do battle with SBC. Oneof their techs had the nerve to tell me to shut it down when I was done on the PC, kind of defeated the purpose of always on internet connect

In the end they let me out of the 1 yr contract and refunded me the 2 or 3 months I was with them. Took forever to get to the ight person to help me resolve the mess.
