the only jeans taht i can find that look remotely good on me are old navy jeans. i wait until they go on sale and get them. anyway, the place wher eth eback pocket and the jeans meet, ALWAYS start to unravel or whatever, so then i have jeans that have a hole in the butt. i do not wear them too tight or put things in my back pocket. do you have this prob with old navy jeans? i can not afford to have to buy them all teh time. i just a pair three weeks ago and hvae only worn them about 5 times and they are already starting!!!

I've never had that problem. I get my jeans at Lane Bryant. They run about $30 but sometimes they have sales and the coupons they send out helps. I get either the boot cut or the flared. I'm short and wear a size 18 so I can't wear a tapered leg because I think they look funny on me. lol I watch What Not to Wear all the time too and get hints from them. I will never go back to the tapered leg again.

The only jeans I can wear are from Sears (Coventry) and LL BEANS which I also bought at Sears for about $20..maybe try those ...they fit good and are durable. It's really hard finding jeans when youa re only 5 ft :D so I buy alot when I find a pair that fit lol

My Old Navy jeans haven't done that and I've had them around 2 yrs (low-rise bootcut). Do you hook your fingers in the belt loops when you pull them up? Hubby does this all the time and almost 95% of his jeans have the worn spot at the inner-corner of the back pockets.

ME TOO! ME TOO! Only the ones i've purchased within the last year do that, all of my older Old Navy jeans are still great. I'll only buy Old Navy (ultra low bootcut) because they fit me just the way I want them to so now I immediately use one of those iron on patches in the inside of the jeans where they always wear out... I would rather do that then go thru more "Jeans Trauma".

Before the hole gets to where they are unwearable, get an iron on patch and put it on the inside. It will not show and it will save your jeans. You can probably cut one patch in half and put one half on each side.

"do i have a big butt or something?"
No, from here you look to be about a size 6 or 8.

I only go for Levis....they are very well made! I would take them back, personally. They should not unravel like that!!

The first day I realized that I had a big butt... I was in the kitchen cooking and cought something out of the corner of my eye moving behind me and jumped.... only to find it was just my big ole booty LOL
:)
I like mens old navy jeans. they fit better and I can't stand the fact that most womens jeans come clear up to my stomach. The womens lowrise jeans are made just like mens, except they charge you more just to make them "lowrise" (never have figured that out LOL)
I also have the same probs with them unraveling after a few months, but anymore, thats the style and is dosen't bother me :)

yep, exactly!
i wear a 6 at old navy, eights if i buy something somewhere else. i think old navy tries to make women feel good and puts thier jeans a size down, lol.
i am going to go and get them and put a patch on the inside. never thought of that!
i am also going to try on a pair of the mens jeans and see how they fit, bc that is why i get the low rise, most women's i find come almost under my boobs! so i get the low rise and they fit just at my hips.
i accidentally got a pair of ultra low ons once, and i about died!! way too low for me!!
