man what a steal at 40 grand! Is there a reason it is so cheap? It looks really nice and could be made into such a cool home.

Really there is nothing wrong with the house that is just what house's go for here real estate is cheap here in Oklahoma don't get me wrong there are some that run a lot higher but you can get one pretty cheap here. Rent is pretty cheap here too. I live in a 3 bedroom house and only pay 300.00 a month.

WOW!!! I think it is a great house!! Hubby's and my first house was 3 bedroom, 1 bath and it had half the square footage as this one. And it cost almost twice as much 26 years ago!!! Our new house cost over 15 times as much as this house.
The hardwood floors are gorgeous, as is all the matching woodwork.
I hope you get it. It looks like a wonderful home!
(Why do I live in S. California??? LOL)

My word... I just told hubby we need to move to OK... you can't even buy a 2 bedroom condo for that price here... I'm so jealous!

I love the inside, I'm a sucker for older houses.
I don't think you can buy anything for that price here. I'm blown away at the estimated payment and taxes!

It is really a pretty house. I'm a sucker for woodwork, so I'd steal it up in a second!!
Shoot, I think we need to move to OK, rent for a 3 bedroom home here runs anywhere from 400.00 t0 500.00/month. Its insane.

honestly...hate the dark wood. love wood but this is too dark for me. layout is very nice tough...you will like the fireplace to...handy if the power ever goes out when it is cold...as long as it works. make sure you get it inspected and find out if it is real hardwood on the floors or laminate...big difference in how you care for it. it looks great if you like dark wood tones so you should love it.

I'm sure the floors are wood cause of the year it was built. Very nice and looks roomy. The floors look great--taken care of. I bet older people lived there and took good care of it.
Only thing is I'm a woose and would need a basement. Tornadoes scare me so much. Just have your hubby build a storm cellar.

Thanks everyone I love the floors and the fireplace and I like that it has a dishwasher LOL Okay so I hate doing the dishes so sue me LOL. Now not everyone can live in Oklahoma LOL you wouldn't want to just because the housing is so much cheaper Let me tell you so is the pay around here :( We are going to have everything checked out before we buy it. I don't mind making repairs so long as I know what the heck I am going to need to repair!
