1st Year Wdding Anniversary!!!! Need help with gift ideas for hubby!!!!

Need ideas for our 1st wedding anniversary next month. Traditional is paper and modern is clocks, but that seems so boring!!! Do you think it would be tacky to just get him something he really wants?

I don't think it would be tacky at all. I have been married 4 years and I get my DH exactly what he wants and vice versa. However I am not traditional either, what is the point of buying a gift for someone that may sit in a closet for the next 10 years unused or one that ends up in your next garage sale? JMO

On ours, I was able to keep with "tradition" and give him something he wanted.. a new watch. :p

i don't like the modern ones that much, so get him a Gift Certificate to get what he really wants, lol that way ya get both, lol. i know most stores are going to gift cards, lol, or give him the actual Money then take him to buy it, lol that way ya still get tradtional and he gets what he wants, lmao
