This is not a big deal, just a SAHM wishing she could get out more often.

My husband called from work a few hours ago and told me one of the owners from his work gave him an envelope with tickets to a fan fest for the Sacramento Kings. The fan fest is at the arena for the season ticket holders to get a chance to interact with the players(we are not ticket holders but hubbys boss is). Anyways we were invited, but I just could not go. FIGURES!!!!!> I love the Kings... Anyways it is also Homecoming at the high school and after the game , my oldest son planned on having some friends over, which I agreed to a week ago. So I guess I am chaperione and hubby gets to meet the Kings. Not fair. Not Fair at all. Atleast him and my 14year old are having the time of their lives (we are all Kings fans)..
Anyways enough of my pitty party and finish getting ready for the Homecoming paty. Boo Hoo Boo Hoo.

too bad for you, I feel your pain, but I always say - good things happen to good people and you are good people. tonight will be a night your son always remembers and that is a mom's dream come true...your day will come

maybe when he gets home he'll treat you like a "Queen" since you didnt get to go meet the kings :)

Ugh, it always happens that way, doesn't it? Hope your party went well. At least you are keeping your son and his friends safe and they trust you enough to come back to your house.

Well my hubby and 14 year old had a great time. My son met Brad Miller and a few new King players (trying to make the team). I let my husband take the camera, but he forgot to take pictures. MEN!!!!!

As for the party it went well, they kids stayed longer than I would have liked but all went well. Except I think they ate all the food in the house. Atleast tonight is the homecoming dance, so I wont be having a housefull. I could use a quite night. But I have a bad feeling that one of my sons older friends (this kid is 20 and graduated a couple years ago) will come over. This kid wants to hang out with me and my hubby more than he hangs out with my son. It kinda gets old after awhile.
