And grandbabies make 6!!!

Let me start off by saying that our 2 oldest DD's are technically my step-dd's, but I am the only mom they have and I am only 7 years older than our oldest ... thats no longer weird to us lol ... but they are my daughters and no one can tell me different :)

Anyhow in 2 weeks we will be getting custody of our 2 grand-daughters. Its one of those "what else can I do?" situations. I am stressed enough now with our 2 girls at home and fear that I am going to be a giant bundle of nerves before this is all over.

So starting the 18th we will have

DD who is 9
DD who is 7
GD who is also 7
GD who is 3

At least the older ones will be in school during the week!

I definately love em, and am not complaining about them coming, but I don't know how you ladies who have a house full do it. Hopefully all will be well and it won't be a huge stress factor for me..... kind of hoping for the best expecting the worst.

I have been talking to my dd's about the gd's coming so that they will know way ahead of time and hopefully we won't have any issues over jealousy (I can hope can't I?) Right now they are excited, but I think once they realize that the gd's ARE home and not going anywhere soon, it might be a different story.

Just wanted to let you guys know whats going on so when I talk about having more kids, you won't think I "had" more kids LOL

It's nice you are stepping in to take care of GDs. Four girls...well the PMS is going to be raging there in a few years. Please allow your DH to go hide in the shed or barn or whatever when he gets overwelmed! " :D

PS My sister has four boys....how about a nice hookup when they get older? Lol...

We have 4 at home, too, only the opposite, with all of them boys. Maybe we could trade 2 boys for 2 of your girls? :) Anyway, good luck. Mine are younger (ss is 6, mine is 6 and the twins are 2) but we find that having the older boys help their brothers out helps us,too.
