WHY would one have a pkg of RED koolaid in their pocket????

I have been doing laundry ALL weekend and I go to get the clothes out of the washing machine and what do I find??? RED clothes and a washed koolaid pkg!!!!

OMG!! :eek: Kids will put anything in their pockets. I hope you can figure out a way to get it all out of the clothes.

The only thing I can suggest to try would be OxiClean. I have had ALOT of luck with that stuff. However, it is RED of all colors......which is the HARDEST color of stain to get out of anything!! Good luck!!

I feel for you! I once washed a dark mauve tube of lipstick with my whites. It would have been okay if I had caught it before I stuck them in the dryer! In that case I used Goo Gone and it all came out!!

Again, GOOD LUCK!! Let us know if you were able to salvage any of your clothes!!

Wow, are you doing one of the MODS laundry???? I heard a rumor one of them sniffs koolaide when making it for her son............

Just got back with the carpet cleaner, clothes are abck in the washer.... pray lol

I've never tried it, but the Queen of Clean says "Wine Away" gets out any red stains

I usually just have to deal with tissues in the laundry, or the occasional coin (pennies or dimes or whatever).

Oxi clean didn't do squat lol

When I used the carpet cleaner, it lightened the color, but still didn't take it out...

At least there were only 2 shorts in the wash and the rest were towels. The girls can wear the shorts to play in. I more ticked off that the koolaid was in there to begin with!

Guess who will be checking pockets from now on??? :rolleyes:

you have to treat the stain with the carpet cleaner then let it soak in warm water for a few hours... then wash....
then repeat..
trust me... this works on gatorade stains as well... hang in there.... :o
