I am sorry!! I know exactly how you feel it has been a bad week for quite a few people here and everywhere else. Hang in there and just remember He never gives you more than you can handle, even though it seems like it sometimes.
If you need to talk PM me ((((HUGZ))))

Every day this week something has happened that has made me want to run away and hid in a cave somewhere. And every day I got up and went to work. And every day I wanted to turn my car the other way and drive until there was no more road left.
Some weeks are worse than others. This one has taken the cake. If you decide to run away, I am coming with you. I get tired of living as well.

I too know exactly how you feel. The past few weeks have totally sucked for me as well. Everything that can go wrong has. If it wasnt for my children I would runaway and never come back again.

Try to think of it like this: no matter how bad it is it can always be worse. There are thousands of people struggling to live one more day every day; cancer patients, people with terminal illness, people who have lost everything that they own in the recent hurricanes. A bad attitude never helps the situation ;)

Ellen, you don't plan to do any harm to yourself, right?
I pray that you won't.
Sometimes things occur in life that we just have no control whatsoever.
Just have to get through the difficult times.
I find that prayer and family or friend support really helps me.
Everybody has good things and bad things going on in life.
You have to look for those little positive things, when
you're at your lowest:
a pretty flower,
a smile,
someone holding the door for you,
or
do one of those for another person to make you feel better.
Over the course of six months, not just one week,
probably things are pretty good for the most part.
Could you start a daily journal of the good things
going on in your life right now.
There has to be at least one thing.....
your friends on BBS,
use of the computer,
people praying for you.
This might help.
God bless you, dear!
Keep us posted.

Most of the battles of life are won
by looking beyond the clouds to the sun.
And having patience to wait for the day
when the sun comes out and the clouds float away.

When I have a really bad day, I look at a public notice I clipped from the newspaper 10 months ago. It is a notice of a dependency hearing (to sever parental rights) for a baby 1 month old. I just look at that and think, well, my life is going better than this poor little baby's life has been so far. I don't know the girl or her parents, but I think about her a lot and wonder how she's doing.

You need to develop a more positive self image. Everyone knows that life is going to suck occasionally. You need to be able to overcome the sucky parts and go forward.

you need to go out and do something. work at a soup kitchen. walk dogs at the local shelter. something that makes you realize that life is never as bad as it seems. help others and you will help yourself

I feel that way sometimes also, then think about how much I love my job and my family and feel better. My boss tells me daily I'm an angel and she thanks me for taking this job. You can pm me also anytime.

Whenever I get depressed about something, I remember this single phrase:
"I once was upset because I had no shoes
Then I met someone who had no feet."

Wow beautiful quote. Thats exactly how i see it. This week hasnt been the best....(just graduted from college and I'm lookin' for a job.....which blows by the way....)....but hey, I have my health and the love of fam. and friends.
Just think about the people in Florida or Haiti. Thousands of people are staving to death....it cant be that bad for you.

Thousands of people are starving to death in America as well. Not that the Bush administration cares, of course. They are too concerned about making Iraq safe for Halliburton.
