hard job to get started in, especially if you have a town full of Beauty shops. When you get your license, I would first go to work in a chain that has a guaranteed was (not straight percentage) until you build up your clientelle. Biggest thing I hated about it, was telling people I couldn't work on their hair because they had lice (kinda of embarrassing for bot of us)

I've never had any experience in that type of job, but I LOVE doing it. My mom used to be a beautician, but that was 25 + years ago. She loved it and still loves doing hair, but just keeps it in the family.

I've decided that I'm going to get into cosmetic tattooing. I'm in the process of learning how to do it and once I get some experience under me, I'm eventually going to open my own business. Right now I'm going to be working with my dads new girlfriend/soon to be wife. Its a good paying business, eyes and eyebrows are 250.00 each and lips are 400.00. then touch ups are 25.00/hour.

Best of luck in going back to school.
