Found this website in 8/20/04 issue of The Week magazine (pg 38 for those of you who get this one) . Says website sells stolen goods recovered by Police Depts. in e-bay style auctions. I went to the website & they have really good buys. Anyone tried this one out or even heard of it?

Ive heard of it. They were talkin about it on our local news one night. But Ive never checked it out... forgot all about it.

Why can't the people the stuff was stolen from have it back instead of it being sold online?

sometimes when things are recovered they get put in a lost and found room at the local PD.... most of the time people never come to claim their things back.
