What's eveyone doing today?

We cut the huge pine tree out front that was leaning toward the house,it's in the burn pile now (branches) we staked the wood for later. I just got done shampoing the carpets in the living room (rest of floors are hard wood) moved the living room around,cleaned the ceiling fans,stripped the beds,doing laundry,swept and moped the kitchen,snapped green beans,made dad lunch,getting ready to dust and Lord knows what else.lol

I hope no one wants me to cook :o

Shucks Sheila. I was going to ask you to cook vittles for Heather and me. We are packing up more boxes for my move. I have to wait til she is home to help me since I can't lift heavy things anymore. Plus we are keeping an eye on Frances. She will be heading for my grandkidlettes in FL about next door to Army Mom :eek:

Boiling potatoes for potato salad for neighborhood cookout tonight - just lying on the couch watching old movies and checking in on the storm news - thinking good thoughts for the people in Florida. Tomorrow is house cleaning day UGH!

Wow Sheila... now I know who's hogging all the energy !! I just got back from Wally World. Clearance stuff EVERYWHERE , seriously. They are remodeling the store so it is clearance galore! :D Dont see why they're remodeling though, its only a couple years old :confused:

All five of the kids are at the neighbors playing football so Im gonna try to clean some more today. Got tons of laundry to do.

Its so hot out, Im pretty sure I wont work out in the yard today. Especially since the neighbor on the right is having a yard sale and the neighbor on the left has company over and they have an RV set up in the yard between us partying so the last thing Im gonna do is go out and sweat my butt off in front of them! :eek: LOL

Ill probably start going thru my yard stuff later tonight. Wanted to have one this weekend but couldnt because of other crap to do so gonna do it this coming weekend. Hopefully not everyone is all burned out on garage sales after this weekend..... they're massive here.

im going to visit with my mother tonight.i try to visit her one night a week i keep her updated on everything going on in my life.i visited with my sister last night nite.wow i was so lazy today i had ramen noodles for lunch.nothing exciting going on here!! hugs to you all ann

I have done all laundry, (sure there will be 2 loads again by morning) . Cleaned the house from top to bottom. Oragnized a huge pile of extra school supply stuff and found a home for it. Cleaned out my kids closets and got stuff ready to donate. I toppped of the day with some major pool cleaning..... hate when I use the theory that if I can't be in why bother......well today I dealt with the start of an algae war. Hoping by morning I'm the winner on that battle!

Haven't even had time to eat luch, and don't much care about dinner, so if anybody here wants to eat, they best start thinking about where it is we're going!!

All I did today was make breakfast, go to my mom's to use her printer (mine died), went to my family reunion, and now I am home doing nothing for the rest of the day. Except for feeding all the animals.

I didn't have to cook !!!!! Yippy for me! I was out in the front picking apples up that fell off and dad peeked out the front door and said "cracker Barrel or Los Palmas" Mexican food for us :D

I have washed all the area rugs,cleaned the wood floors and went through some stuff in the garage (empty bags & boxes from dad's move here) got all that thrown out.Took a longggggg shower. It was muggy as heck here today :rolleyes:

Now having a cup of coffee and sitting with all of you. :D

Well, after church hubby and i went to the neighbors for a great cook out. Then we got on the motorcycle and took a wonderful long ride, to enjoy the last days of summer! we got back and went back over to the neighbors, to help them close down the party (and have a few brews as we did! :p )
Now i'm making a turtle cheesecake to take to my grandma's house for lunch tomorrow. :)
