Nice one but what does "magnanimity" mean? Like a happy dance thing

Nana I think it has to do with how you handle things...like what you would face in a day? Thats the way I read it.

I thought to be magnanimous meant to be generous:

Main Entry: mag·na·nim·i·ty
Pronunciation: "mag-n&-'ni-m&-tE
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -ties
1 : the quality of being magnanimous : loftiness of spirit enabling one to bear trouble calmly, to disdain meanness and pettiness, and to display a noble generosity
2 : a magnanimous act

Here's one of my new favorite quotes, I can't tell you who said it though, I want to say Confucius, but I could be wrong.

"War does not determine who is right; war determines who is left."
