Does anyone know of any programs that will help with mortgage payments? (I'm in Ohio). I searched the net but seems like every state has something except Ohio. Thanks for any info.

try calling your local welfare office someone there should know.

Go through the Social Services section of your local Yellow Pages and call everyone. Someone knows. It's just a matter of finding the right person.

ameridream is a homebuyer assistance mainly but I did see on their site something about assistance for keeping your house. you might want to try www.ameridream.org and click on "Home Retention Program"

Thank you...just an FYI-I had called all the agencies in our phone book and no one knew anything. Since we don't have children at home there is next to nothing for us. Going to check out the two sites now...thanks again
