The Cat Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray this cushy life to keep.
I pray for toys that look like mice,
And sofa cushions, soft and nice.
I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,
And someone nice to scratch my back,
For windowsills all warm and bright,
For shadows to explore at night.
I pray I'll always stay real cool
And keep the secret feline rule
To NEVER tell a human that
The world is really ruled by CATS!

Heather's cat Howard rules this household. Ralphie the lab and I never know what Howard will do or where he will pop up. Maybe I need a cat pop-up stopper :eek:

My hospice counselor was here this afternoon. She has 3 large dogs at home, labs and shepards. Like me not a cat lady. Howard came out of hiding and hung all over her. Strange breed of animal. Cats are weird but cute :)

My sister says cats know when people don't like them and that's when they are all over them. LOL

My Simon usually hides when strangers come over. But he helped sell our house. The woman buyer has four cats and Simon let her hold him while she looked all over the house. I told him before we left to help sell the house, LOL. My don't touch me cat let her hold him a really long time. :p
