I purchased a book for my class on ebay on August 8 or so and paid promptly. The seller emailed me on Monday, August 10 and told me my item has been shipped. When i tracked the package with the number he gave me, the item was not shipped like he said. The next day, when i tracked at usps, i was told their office was notified about the pickup but they have not received the item. Its almost two weeks now and no book yet. :( I bought a book last week and the seller shipped it through media mail which cost $1.89 and i got it 3 days ago. I tracked the book today cos classes begin tomorrow and i'm now told " the package left our kansas city facility on August 14". how long will have to wait! :( I don't know why people charge $5 shipping and handling fee and ship through snail mail so you get it in a months time
At least i thank God my evening class is starting next week.

I think it has become my personal quest to bust people for overcharging on shipping and handeling. I was looking at a pair of TIGHTS for my dd. TIGHTS....NEW ONES......She was charging $6.50 for shipping...FOR A PAIR OF TIGHTS!

I emailed her and asked if they were going to arrive usp 2nd day air or super duper priority mail...She replied saying that she was SENDING THEM FIRST CLASS BUT THE REST IS FOR HER HARDSHIP!!!

Give me a break....unbelieveable..

Hope your book arrives on time!!!

eBay really sucks now because some of the people that sell are just horrible and ruin it for everybody else. I've stopped selling and buying on eBay. Everytime you find a good deal now, it's not worth it because of the shipping charges. I don't mind paying an extra dollar or two for handling costs and whatever because if you've ever sold anything on eBay, you know that sometimes those things get expensive. Boxes, bubblewrap, tape... adds up. But never enough to over charge someone by $5. That's why I like priority shipping, supplies are free! But most of the time, it's a small item and still, no one wants to pay $4 to ship something that weighs 4oz. But anyways, sorry it happened to you. I hope you get your books on time... I still haven't bought mine. I start on the 23rd! I'm so unprepared.
