why is it that when you are dating someone.....and they are sick (have the flu...whatever) ...it is cute...but, you marry them and they are sick (have the flu) and it isn't cute anymore.....(after 8 yrs)...now it is just annoying???

Because when you date them, you can always get up and go home. When you marry them, they won't get up and leave.
Men are the worst when they are sick. Whiney babies that suddenly can't do a thing for themselves. Makes you want to just sit them out on the curb until they get better. Then they can come back inside.

I know men who act like that when they aren't sick. Then there is one that I swear is a hypochondriac. He always seems to have something wrong with him and thinks he needs to be on complete bedrest. He seems to get these mysterious illnesses that no one can figure out. I know you are reading this Mr. Hypochondriac so yeah I'm talking about you.

Are you talking about my brother?!?!?! I swear you just described him perfectly!! He always has "something" wrong with him and most of it is so far fetched its scary! He's been "dying" so many times in the last few years that he must have more lives then a cat! I just let what he says go in one ear and out the other.
My DH is a BIG baby when he's sick. I'm supposed to wait on him hand and foot but after awhile it gets old real fast. When I stop doing everything for him he all of a sudden is feeling better. Go figure. lol
But for the most part when I'm sick he does help out and does try to be sweet about it. Like when I had the flu, bronchitis and ear infection all at once, he was such a sweetheart. He stayed home from work, I was served breakfast lunch and supper in bed if I felt like eating. He kept the kids out of our room which is a BIG challenge. They all seem to think that they can't survive a day without mommy being there at all times. So I can't complain to much about my DH. My FIL on the other hand is a real pain in the butt to my MIL when she's sick. BUT when he's sick she better jump when ever he wants and wait on him to no end. The world is going to end because he isn't feeling good. She quickly puts him into place though. ;) :D

I sent him to our room....for some reason he INSISTS on being in public with EVERYONE.....Ugh! Now he is up there pouting. I just had DS take him some tea and water...and a bag for his used tissues!

I have my husband trained. When I am sick or hurting, he knows that he is better off to leave the house. I become super B---- and I don't want anyone to bother me. Don't touch me, don't speak to me and don't walk so hard on the floor. He will leave in the morning and won't come back until about 7 PM. Actually he will call first to see if it's safe. He's a baby when he gets sick though. He basically wants me to sit there and hold his hand. He's a sweetheart though and I wouldn't trade him.

I have a real trooper here. My DH was so sick this past week, and went to work and never complained not one time. I, on the other hand, was sick as well and I was the baby, of course I was MORE sick then he was...hehe.
