we have 2 weeks to find a new place to live, oh and dh got fired!

Sunday after work dh got fired. She told him it was time to move on :mad: After him working there about a year and a half, so looking forward into moving into the nice house she promised us. she uses him and then fires him. She told him we have 2 weeks to move out of the house. {she signed the lease with the owner of the house, she already told him we will be out and the house gone through by her before sept 1. We went down to the county yesterday, we got food stamps. They wont help us find a place to live, they did say that we have to find out own place, have the security for it, they would pay the first month rent for us but that is it. oh and they will only do that if both dh and I are working {or dh is making a lot of money} and they feel we can affored it on our own. We have $50.00 to our name.

Oh ya this is fun :(

Dh really wants to stay away from dairy farming, but they have housing. So dh called on one in the paper yesterday and has to go down and talk to the guy in a couple of hours. I am so hoping that dh gets the job, it will take care of our houseing problems too. If he does get this then we can save up and get our own place {we would like to try to buy a place} that way if anything happends with a job we always have a place live.

I am not sure about this because we were not on the lease. Dh's now ex-boss signed the lease, we never seen it. I dont really wanna get into all that mess anyway, ya know.


Well the job interview went good, he said he is very interested in my dh. He has two more interviews to do and then he said he is going to call dh and let him know. So prolly in a day or two we will know for sure, but dh is pretty positive he has the job. The guy was telling dh what he could do to the house, add on another room or whatever. Was saying that he knows we would need a few days to pack and move everything, so we will see. I am keeping my fingers crossed :)

Well it isnt going to all be free, we have to pay our electric and propain{sp} which isnt bad, at least we dont have to pay rent. We will be taking a $100 pay cut with this but at least it is a job and a place to live.

Oh ya some more good news, our car just broke tonight coming back from the interview. We are at my IL's right now and we are going to have to take their car home cause we cant drive ours. Now with no money we have to fix our car :( WOOOHOOO arent we having fun yet!! :(:(:(:(:(

well just an update about all this, we kinda fixed the car. The strut{sp} went bad and then the spring broke, so we had to replace them. Now we have to replace the rotor{sp} and brakes because when dh and his dad replaced the strut they bent the rotor:(

I talked to dh's ex-boss and she is giving us a hard time about giving him the last 2 pay checks she told him he would get. I told her we cant move without money, it ended up with her yelling at me over the phone because I told her we couldnt move out of the house when she wants us out if we dont have money, it is just common since. So today being friday and dh isnt going to get home till around 7:30-8:00 tonight and she hands out the pay over where he just got done at 5:00 tonight I have no idea if we can get it tonight. If we dont get it tonight then we are going to have to wait till next week to cash it :( I have been thinking of calling her up and asking where his check is going to be later so we can go get it, then again I really dont wanna talk to her again, but we need the money.

Dh started that farm job on Thurs morning, he worked a few hours yesterday and is working all day today and tomarrow. He said if everything works out with dh at the job we would be able to move into next week sometime. At least we have some good news.

Good, he got that job, and the rotor is a pain but not too pricey, I think, if i remember right, on my car, I send you ((HUGS)) on the lady who owes you that money and hope that works your way, and you are right if you don't even have a "lemon, how are you supposed to make "lemonade" here, like lets move, ok, we need the money, or what are we gonna do here..I feel you, my own motto: MEAN PEOPLE SUXK...for real.

We went over and picked up one of the checks she told him she would give him. I am so glad about that. We are going to be moving into the new place next week, After we move I am not sure when we are going to get a phone on. We are thinking we may save some money for a month or two and then get it turned on. I hate doing that because we dont have a cell phone now and my grandma isnt doing good and I like being able to call or have them call me if something happends. We will see.

Now if I can get through on the phone for our foodstamps, we were supposed to get them yesterday. but the number to call and find out and set up a pin number is always busy. We want to save what money we have for moving and use the food stamps for food.


Ahhh if it isnt one thing it is a dozen :(
