Broken nose!

Can you believe I broke my nose??? I was lying on my 11 yr old son's bed with him, he leaned over the side of the bed and then raised up as fast as he could and (accidentally) head butted me smack straight on in the nose!!!! I SAW STARS!!! This was Saturday night......I went to the dr. today......had it x-rayed and sure enough the tip is broken, but the septum isn't deviated and it is straight.......going back to the dr. here in a bit so he can look at the x-ray (the x-ray tech showed me the x-ray), and tell me if he thinks I need to go to an ENT or not.....hopefully not....it sure does hurt like the devil, though! (and week before last I stepped on a wasp and had to go to the dr.)....wonder what will happen next!!!!

When I went back to the dr., he said it wasn't deviated and was still straight so we wouldn't have to do anything, thank goodness!

Don't ever ever ask that you might just find out. I bet it hurt so bad, my kids have done that when they were little tho but yikes it still hurts, glad you don't have to go to an ENT...take care and I agree with the other lady, milk it...hehe.

Oh gosh, my kids have head butted me like that and it hurts so bad so I can only imagine how it felt when it broke it. Bless you heart, I hope you get to feeling better soon. {{{Hugs}}}
