Petty kind of Funny Vent!

Is it just me, or does anyone else find that new Sharpie commercial awfully annoying? You know, the one where the mom cannot put the baby down for a minute without him screaming, then laughing when she picks him up, so she has to use the new retractable Sharpie pen? I find it annoying because I have known people with spoiled babies like that. While I would never allow a child of mine to be sick or hurt and not be cuddled, I think that a child who is not sick or injured, and acts like that one on the commercial, is spoiled rotten. Kids need to learn the entire world does NOT revolve around them. When my son was almost 2, his baby brother was born. Sometimes the baby had to wait while I tended to big brother. Neither is worse for the wear.

I know, petty vent in light of everything else going on. But hey, might as well! :D

lol i agree it is annoying, but than again now days a lot of commercials are annoying.

I don't really find that commercial annoying, but that kind of behavior, YES!

Every mom has a different way of bringing up baby. As long as they feel loved it usually all comes out in the wash. I say why not cuddle them while they will let us. I'm a granny of course. I like the commercial. My grandchildren might do that to me but not to their mom. They know who spoils them. :)

Personally I LOVE the one with Alice Cooper for Staples - daughter asking "I thought you said school's out FOREVER.", and he replies "No dear - I said school's out for SUMMER!"

I like the Alice Cooper commercial too!! The ones that annoy me, are when the child spills milk or juice all over everything and the mom is totally unconcerned 'cause her magical paper towels will clean the whole sticky mess up in 3 seconds flat! My dot knew better than to get a full container out of the fridge and pour it everywhere. If she had, I'm not perfect, I would have been annoyed!
