A few weeks ago I posted about a friend who is involved in the same home based business as I am. Our pastor had told someone about this business because it could help the person. I thought the pastor only gave the person my friends name. I found out by accident yesterday that I was so very, very wrong. The pastor came to visit my husband in the hospital and I was there, and the pastor asked how things were going in my work. I began talking to him a little about the hbb...and he said "I gave so and so yours and your friends name and told her that either of you could help her. Did she ever call you?" I told him that she called my friend. I was so ashamed of myself for being angry, thinking that my friend was called because he was "a male" or attended the church longer or whatever. All I wanted was for both his and my name to be given and the church members choose themselves who they call. And that's exactly what happened. :o I have got to quit jumping to conclusions.

You know Belle, it took a lot of courage for you to come back here and tell us about your mistake. You didn't have to and no one would have ever known, but you did. That makes you a very special person to admit you were wrong. So many others would have never done it. I know God has forgiven you and I think this was a lesson you learned and won't repeat. (((hugs))) :)
guesswho!

Glad it wasnt what you originally thought! I actually like it when things turn out better than what I imagine! Dont be too hard on yourself, you'll know next time to step back & wait before drawing a conclusion. I agree with another post, thanks for coming back & telling us it was a mistake...that does take courage.

Thanks for understanding why I posted about me being mistaken. It was because I did not like the fact that I said things about my friend, or even felt badly towards him, when over and over and over, he has proved the best friend that I could ever meet. And--he came to the hospital today (where my husband is a patient) and took me to lunch to give me a break---and when I told him, he was so very gracious about it. Friends like him are God's greatest blessings.
