SHE got the job.....

About a week ago, I got called for an interview at a local hospital. My "best" female friend was with me when I got the call about the interview. She asked me how I heard about the job, so I was an idiot and told her. She went home and applied for the job too. She got called yesterday. She got the job. And Im supposed to be happy for her....cause at least she didnt have a job and got one...and I have a job, just want (NEED) a change. :(

LOL...yeah....to make matters worse. I was pretty gullible. She asked me for help redoing her resume because she wasnt getting any calls on jobs and she had been looking for over a month. Well, like a bigger idiot, I did it. And that's the resume she sent to get this job. Im trying to work the personnel problems out at the job Im at and just stay there. Im just angry that she did this...now I know why I like male friends better...lol

With friends like that you dont need any enemies to stab you in the back :rolleyes: I think that would be the end of the friendship for me, not only did she LIE to you by omission but she backstabbed you knowing you really needed a job. ITA, and when that something comes along, don't say a word to your friend, until you have it. Sorry she did that to you. I can't see her being that happy in her job, knowing what she did to get it.

The best last word about looking for a job...tell no one. My husband learned this the hard way at one of his old jobs. Someone found out he was looking and laid him off!

Be happy for her. Now she is working and she will be better off. And there is a reason why you didn't get that job. You may find out from her that it wasn't as good as you thought it might be.
