Old Navy, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling seven styles of baby outerwear. Old Navy is voluntarily recalling all units sold, because the clear plastic zipper pull on the garments may detach from the zipper and could be ingested by a child.

The recalled Old Navy Baby outerwear styles were sold between October 2003 and May 2004, and their names, images, and style numbers are below.

Style numbers can be located on receipts and on labels sewn into seams or collars of the garment. For online orders, style numbers are also included on printed invoices and in email communication.

Babies should stop wearing this outerwear immediately.

The outerwear styles that are being recalled have clear plastic zipper pulls that say "old navy" in lower-case, handwritten letters. Old Navy has not received any reports of injuries related to these garments. Old Navy is voluntarily conducting this recall to help prevent the possibility of injury. No other outerwear offered by Old Navy is subject to recall.

Please return this outerwear to any Old Navy store for a full refund, along with a $5 Old Navy Appreciation Card. To find the store nearest you, click on our handy Store Locator.

You may also return a recalled item by mail. Simply send an email message to custserv@oldnavy.com with "Old Navy Safety Recall" in the subject line. Feel free to include as much information as you have about your original purchase in the body of your message. We'll email you a pre-paid shipping label to print out and affix to your return package.

You will receive a full merchandise refund and a promo code good for $5 off your next oldnavy.com order.

If the outerwear you purchased was given as a gift, please make the recipient aware of the recall, so that he or she may return the item to a store or by mail.
