Wow, it has been a while since I last posted. To be quite honest, last week I kind of had to do a lot of backspacing and thinking before I posted so I thought some time off would be nice and help me realize that while some things may drive me to the verge of insanity, I too have to get over it. I've been kind of keeping low but still spending some time reading posts.
I'm not working at WalMart, for the time being. Put my application in weeks ago, and never got a call back. My mom went to find out why and said her store had to hault hiring because sales have been down. She said that now they NEED 2 people and are getting ready to make calls, so they may call me. Kind of hoping against it now because in less than 2 months school starts again and I'd need to find a new job anyway. I'm probably going to apply at the Kohls they are building here, even though I've never even been to a Kohls before. The store opens I believe in the fall- perfect for school and such.
Me and Jaime are doing well. He's still working at Target, and I'm going to walk down there in about an hour and a half to meet him for his lunch break. It's about a 3 mile walk (so mapquest says) and only takes me about an hour- I've been doing it every weekend since I need the exercise.
I saw Gothika almost 2 weeks ago and havn't been able to take a shower since... stupid shower scene... sooo... I've been washing my hair in the sink- which takes twice as long, but hey... hopefully I'll get over that stupid movie soon. Jaime was on the computer with me the other day and somebody on this random message board had the Sammara girl from the ring as their avatar, and it was like a movie clip so it was "action" also... I screamed and ran into the living room crying... so no more horror movies for a while- been having trouble sleeping.
Been sick some also. Been feeling pretty queezy during the night, which sometimes makes me go to bed at 8 or 9. Only had a fever about 4 nights ago and then I threw up, right after taking the pepto grandpa gave me. I've been sleeping a lot since I've been pretty miserable, also been pretty crabby.
I've been going to the dentist once a week, and will continue to go for the rest of my summer. After having a root canal, my new dentist (thank god the other place is no more) gave me a full exam and it turns out I have about 14  problems I need fixed (another root canal as well as fillings). Mom got the printout of costs and it will be about $3,000 to fix my teeth along. That's after insurance and only includes fillings, root canals, crowns... I guess my front teeth have to be filled with gold since the fillings need to be strong to hold brackets for my braces. Then after it's all fixed I probably have to get wisdom teeth removed and then I can start getting my braces (which cost is unforseen yet, not included in the 3K). After braces are done they are capping my front teeth so they will look all nice and pretty. Will probably take about 3-4 years at least for braces, so about my 22nd birthday maybe they will be off.
That's okay though, as long as they are straight for my wedding photos, and I can't get married till I'm 23, at least. As long as I'm going to school full time, I'm on my mom's insurance, so a lot of dental stuff is covered. Then again, I'll probably be out of school by then, so maybe not. I'm just going to try to stay in school as long as I can to make sure my braces are taken care of.
No word on my financial aid yet. It's still a toss up since aid is given on a first come first serve basis. I did get a $100 teachers scholarship from Santana so that will help a little. I start picking classes on or around the 26th. I know I also qualified for a fee waver so I don't need to pay all them signup fees.
I've been kind of bumming my summer away, just sitting around. Kind of boring, but at least I get to sleep. :)

So glad you are OK, just very busy. And it's perfectly OK to loaf the first summer after graduation. Once you start college and working, there will be no more 'loafing'. You are only young once so enjoy it :D That's cool about your teeth. Dentists are scarier than any horror movie I've ever seen. Glad you are back sweetie :)

My mom came down a few minutes ago and told me she didn't read the second page of the printout with the rest of the totals, assumed the total was on page 1. Grand total of dental corrections, after insurance, and before braces... $5,300! UGH.
