Ok so as many of you know i have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years with no luck except for one time that was a tubal pregnancy in Jan and a nother in April. So they did a hysterosalpingogram (injected dye into my uterus to see if it moves through my tubes) and it showed that both my tubes are blocked. So when I went for my follow up my DUMB doctor says sorry buit you better start looking into adoption. Well I come home and cry my eyes out then get on the computer. Turns out there are lots of things they can do but my DUMB doctor didn't want to. OK now I have vented and I feel a little better. Thanks

Hon, so sorry with what you've been through.

Go to another doctor....even out of town, if you need to.
God Bless you!

Yes, definitely find another doctor... I just had the hsg a month ago (OUCH!!) cause my doc thinks my tubes may be blocked... I had several doctors before this one that just said 'well, you're just fat'... I finally found a doc willing to do tests... find another one, my hubby works w/ a guy whose wifes tubes were blocked, she had day surgery to fix the problem and they were pregnant w/in a month and a half... so find a doc willing to do what they need to do for you, this one is just lazy!

Yes, by all means go to another doctor, preferable one who specializes in this area. Almost anything is possible. When my mother wanted to have another child after having her tubes tided they discovered that the doctor who did the procedure cut one tube in a way that was inrepairable and the other was damaged with scar tissue. Yet they performed the surgery and a "new procedure" and she was pregnant with in a few months.
The advancements these days are quite amazing. when she had my brother there was a lot of hoopla and news cameras - She was the first successful case (and that was 15 years ago.....imagin the advancements now......
Best of luck.

Find someone who specializes in fertility not your ob-gyn. Someone out there knows how to help you. If your doctor does not know how to do it then s/he should have referred you to someone else rather than just telling you it was impossible.

Get another opinion and another and another if you must. But there is help out there.

My PCM is going to put me in for a second opinion with a infertility specialist. I will keep every one updated as to what is going on.

My sister in law (the oldest one) had blocked tubes. They were married over 4 years before she got pregnant with girl #1.
They were told that was a miracle and she would not ever conceive again. 5 years later, and a much better doctor, and she got pregnant with girl #2.
Thinking it would take a longtime, they never used birth control, which explains why 16 months later, out popped girl #3.
Moral:
See a better doctor, NOW.
