The song is actually Love Song according to www.moviemusic.com ... I am having a hard time finding out what other movies it was in.

Ok, yes, you HAVE heard the song before... in probably dozens of films... but search for it by The Cure. 311 only did a cover.

This information is wrong... if you go to www.mtv.com you can find the correct information.

http://www.themichiganjournal.com/news/2004/02/17/Features/50.First.Dates.Soundtrack.Is.All.Reggae.Covers.Of. Old.Songs-609346.shtml

Next, 311's contributes a cover of The Cure's "Love Song," which will have you "jammin' man." Then Seal covers Echo and the Bunnymen's "Lips like Sugar."

Due Feb. 3 via Maverick, the set features such artists as Seal, Black Eyed Peas and 311 covering the likes of Echo & the Bunnymen, the Cure and Spandau Ballet, respectively

"Love Song" appears on the movie "50 First Dates" soundtrack. It is a remake of The Cure's "Love Song."

It was originall done by The Cure( Robert Smith wrote it for his wife the night they got married). It's been covered by 311, Snake River Conspiracy, Tori Amos, Jack off Jill, Amberlin and many others (DS had a CD he burned that was nothing but Love Song covers). There have been several Cure songs on soundtracks, but I can't find where Love Song has been on any other soundtracks.

According to what suprtruckr posted (the entire soundtrack listing) there is a song called Amber by 311 and there is also a song called Love Song by 311 (as well as many others). Maybe the information isn't wrong, but there are just two different songs.
