Ok, My DH SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED a GOOD Sideburn trimmer. Does anyone have any recommendations? I do not have a clue, as my hair is long, unkept and rarely cut! (Yes, I am a mom!)

THanks!

My fiancee' has an electric razor that has a few guards with it, he uses that for everything. He is bald, but he uses it for his moustache and if he grows a goatee he uses it for that too. I think it was about $40. The brand is Conair.

Stay away from that crappy thing they were selling on TV for awhile. It doesn't work worth a darn.

We just bought a Conair set for hubby a week ago. We impulse bought it cause it came w/ it's very own little silver metal briefcase (I thought was cute, he rolled his eyes, but he likes it too!). Anyways, it came w/ several guards but one is specifically for moustaches and sideburns. it's a little thing. I haven't used it yet but Conair is a good brand so I trust it will work well.

It was a neat kit, it came w/ 20 guards in total (actually 10, they're double sided), a drape cloth, sciscors, comb, several brushes... and the clippers... it was intended to be a professional kit but I'm not sure a prof would buy it, they like those 200 dollar clippers... we payed 30.

I bought my DH a Norelco sideburn-mustache trimmer a couple years ago for fathers day. It has all sorts of attachments and our DS (5) uses it to shave his head! LOL!
It does work great, DH loves it. I paid something like $16 for it a walmart of course it was on clearance!

Lots of pros buy theirs from Sallys or a local beauty supply place. When I worked at Sally's I don't remember any costing over $100. I have a Wahl Designer, it has 6 guides (1/8 through 1 1/2 inch) If you know someone with a Pro card,It's on sale at Sally's for $32 in this month's pro sales circular. I've had mine for over 4 years and never had a problem with it....if I loose a guide, I can buy just the one I need without replacing the whole set. I can also replace the blade when and if I ever need to.
