Where did you DL it from? It is totally free.
Here is the free version:http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10186632.html?tag=txt it is 6.0
8.0 is the pay version.

YW, lol, now if I could just fix my Adobe reader. (for some reason when I try to open a PDF file, 6.0 opens a dialog box to install Windows Messenger 5.0 and it is a pain to get it to shut down. I have redownloaded, uninstalled and everything and even got rid of messenger(to no avail) Getting ready to just dump my PC and start new, lol.

AdAware is good and there is a free version....go to www.majorgeeks.com and look on the left side down towards the bottom for spyware items.
Spybot Search and Destroy is good also....requires a little bit of time to work and you need to pay attention to it.
I just d/l ed Spyware Blaster and I am pretty impressed with it. It can be found at www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

I know people that have trouble with spybot messing up their computers. Hubby had it for sometime but changed his mind when he kept having something trying to d/l and he couldn't figure out what it was. Told him to d/l adaware and it will find it, sure enough it did and got rid of it and a lot of other crap on his puter that spybot never did.
