Oldest DD came over yesterday for several hrs and dinner and when i took her home at 9:45pm she wanted me to come in and see her new furniture.Usually i just drop her and go.
As soon as she opened the door she screamed. Someone had ransacked her house REAL good.

SO i kick into super Mom mode and get both DD's out of house.....start going door2door kicking open bedroom doors(she has a 3bdrm place)to make sure someone isnt still in the house while i am on phone to 911(they told me to get out of house but i wouldnt). No one was in the house but i found a bathroom window screen torn out and window open. The bathroom window is small so this person had to be skinny and tiny.

Man they trashed her place good. Her bedroom was a mess :(
All they took(as if all isnt enuff) was her $400 rent money and some gold jewelry and go figure FOOD!.They must not of had a car cuz they left behind her PS2,games,DVD's,CD's,steroes and her big screen TV.......go figure!
But it was a mess in the kitchen..they ransacked her kitchen good making a mess and cleaned out her freezer of meats i had just bought here recently.

Her poor kitty was freaking out like someone was still in the house. She kept telling him"kitty i wish you could talk and tell me who it was" and he would meow at her like he was trying to"
DD was pretty shook up so i stayed with her until her b/f came home.He had gone to St Joe to see family. He was mad!

Can you believe it took cops 2 hrs to get there? Oy Vey! I should of called them back and said never mind i shot the guy and they would of been quicker huh? They took report, looked over place, and said sorry its not a great neighborhood and she should maybe move.....lol
Oh well ........we need to see about getting them to move now :)

figures the cops would'nt show up for some time. I use to live in a not so good area when I lived in Texas. My ex and I managed an apartment complex which was only 4 blocks from the police station. I called 911 on a knife fight that was going on in our parking lot at the time and can you believe the pigs never showed up. I called again and they hung up on me. My ex and a bunch of the other men had to break up these like 10 teenage boys on thier own. I have nothing again the officers but I have never had any luck with them. {{{MamaFairal}}} ~hugs and prayer to you and your family, ya'll will overcome~

i am so sorry, that happened to your dd. i wish the cat, could have said something. that is terrible. i thank god she was not at home when this happened. can't they finger print, her place, being that somebody came through the window, cause they had to touch the window sill, and the walls as they were coming through, and the walls as they turned on the lights. my apartment was broken into years ago, that's why i ask this question. btw~ when it comes to our kids, we do get super strength, quick fast and a hurry. hugs to you all.

Yeah she lives maybe 2 blocks from cop shop also.....how funny!
I called them back and asked if they forgot us and the dispacther said "no we're just real buzy" any other night there's usually a cruiser sitting on the opposite corner of her street cuz its not a good street....go figure!
And since i said no one was still in the house it down graded the call :(
I wasnt all that nice to the dispatcher either especially when she said they wanted us to wait outside till they arrived and the second time i called them back it had started to thunder and lighten and we were not gonna stand outside in it :)

So sorry about the break-in. Huggles to all of you. It takes a while to get over the fear of always being watched. As for fingerprints, you need to supply a suspect. If there is a rash of break-ins, sometimes fingerprints can be traced to the same person who eventually goofs. Criminals aren't the brightest bulb in the package. And as for cops/police, they do the best they can with the resources they have. My son was a police scout while he was in high school and they let parents come to some of the meetings. Very informative.

Sorry that happened to your daughter but at least she wasn't there when they came in. Hopefully they will find who done it. Good luck with getting her moved too. I know I wouldn't want to stay there after something like that happened either! {{{Hugs}}}

Mama, you could have been killed!
But I do understand when that MamaBear adrenaline kicks-in
when things happen.

Am very sorry for DD and for you.

Almost makes a person want 'carry and conceal' to protect yourself
and your babies, no matter how old they are.

Sorry that happened to your daughter but at least she wasn't there when they came in.

EXACTLY! Thats what i told here since she was only at my house maybe 3 hrs.
Could of been ALOT worse. They could have cut up furniture...tons of stuff.
She has no upstairs neighbor(its empty) so they could of really smashed up stuff up and not been heard. She was very lucky.
See usually there is someone always there but being a holiday everyone went their ways to see family. She says shes ok as long as someone is there with her now and she's gonna look into moving soon hopefully....She has a big bad buns boyfriend so i know she's safe :)

Nana- Its just not the type of neighborhood they would even fingerprint if ya know what i mean...lol
