If Aol had a problem with my account, wouldn't they send me an email to my AOL and not my hotmail.
I just got this one and it was sent to my MSN email. Is it for real or is it a scam? When I click on the link, I get an error message. Anyone else get this?
I don't want to lose my Aol account. I lost my Msn because the bank messed up and didn't make three payments.
It said my info is being used by someone else. Should I be worried? I've lsot alot of my surveys because of problems getting to my email. I don't want to lose anymore.

Dear Member,

I am sorry to inform you that...
Unfortunately, your AOL Account Billing information is currently invalid.
The billing information you have provided us with is being used by some one
else. Please click here to correct this problem

Never download a file attached to an e-mail if you don't know the sender.
Attached files can contain viruses or hidden programs (called "Trojan Horse"
programs) that may compromise the security of your AOL account or
damage your computer files. No matter how enticing the file may appear, you
put yourself and your computer at risk when you download a file from an
unknown source, even if it appears to be an official AOL communication. If
you receive a suspicious file, don't open it - Notify AOL:

1. Click on the Forward button on the open Mail window.
2. Type the screen name TOSFiles in the TO: box.
3. Click Send. Your mail will be forward to AOL for review.

Sincerely,
The AOL Member Services Team

This is the error message I get when I click on the link provided. So, would this suggest someone is just after my info?

Definitely a scam...They would send the e-mail to your AOL account or call your house if there was a problem with payment..Typically an AOL e-mail will say that they will NEVER ask for your account information (including password or billing info) in an e-mail. Just ignore it...And since you clicked on the link, make sure you rin your anti virus program.

thanks.
I should have known but with all the trouble I'm having with my MSN account, I wouldn't be suprised if Aol was messed up too.

I'm running my anti-virus right now. :(
