If, “History belongs to the intercessor,” why don’t we make

some history today.

If you aren’t planning to attend a prayer event in your area,

would you squeeze in some extra prayer time today?

“This year, especially, makes a national prayer meeting compelling:

a Presidential election, a divided county, the conflict in Iraq and

Afghanistan, terror threats, dangers in Asia, HIV/AIDS,” etc.

At 12 noon would you STOP what you are doing and pray this,

“Prayer for the Nation” by Dr. Barry Black, Chaplain of the U.S. Senate:

“Gracious God, You have been good to us beyond our deserving,

making our Nation a land of liberty. Help us to protect our freedoms with

diligence and integrity.

Lord, bless our military as it advances freedom’s cause around

the world. Bless also the institutions of power and influence in

our society – the government, the churches, the media, the

schools and the families. May each bring glory to Your name.

Forgive us when we stray from right paths. We place our trust in

You, O Lord, believing that Your hand will sustain America.

Let no shadows obscure the pathways which we should tread.

We pray in Your holy name. Amen.”

REMEMBER our Troops. They are desperate for praye
WHY NOT take some time to pray for our National leadership.
It’s a tough job, and they need divine assistance.
