i have the whole year of 1973 national geographic, a first edition of the kansas city star(1880), a newspaper from the day nixon resigned, figures made in occupied japan, etc. if that helps.

The figurines that say Occupied Japan are worth something. You need to find a dealer or two and ask some questions before you do anything with them. National Geographics are probably worth about a $1. The newspaper from the day that Nixon resigned only has value to a certain type of collector. You might want to put that on E-bay to see what happens. As for the papers from the 1880's, those you might want to donate to a local college and take the value off your taxes.

Occupied Japan pieces can be worth something or nothing. It is going to depend on what you have.
