I got an e-mail from Shari today and she wanted me to update everyone. Here is part of her e-mail to me. She and her hubby have been sick and they both had to go to the E.R. last night. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Hi Robin,
Well, we didn't get home from the ER until 3:30am, and I'm just now getting up and around. They took me directly to Labor and Delivery because I'm 35 weeks along. (I guess they don't want to deliver any babies in the ER, LOL) Bo went to the ER. We both definitely have the flu. They gave me an IV of fluids and phenergan for the nausea.
They checked me and said that I am 2cm dilated and 75% effaced already! WOW! They gave me a bunch of instructions on what to watch for and when to come back. The "stomach cramps" I was having were actually contractions, albeit small ones. They were definitely working though.Well, I'm worn out, I need to get some more rest. Can you please update our BBS friends as to what's been going on with me?
Hugs,
Shari

Two more weeks and she will be considered full term. I hope she lasts that long! I sure hope they get to feeling better!

I always thought it was 38 weeks, but my OB told me this last time that now they consider 37 weeks full term.

Sure hope they both get to feeling better fast so they can enjoy the new baby. Doesn't matter how many weeks the doctors say you should be pg, the babies are born when they want to. My 3 were 7 mths, 8 mths, 8 mths + 1 week. All 3 were and are very healthy. Good luck Shari and hubby:)
