microphone for a computer?

It is what it says a microphone for the computer. You plug it in to the back of your computer and talk to people woth it. I think when hubby got ours at Walmart it was only like $10. I don't like to use it because you have to have a clear connection witht he receipient of the voice message and alot of time it breaks up. But amnyway, you can use it for phone calls you make from your computer and with messenger services too. HTH!!

I have one but don't use it either. It echoes and has bad reception. But it was cool one time talking to 2 little neices over 800 miles away. Wish it would be clear ALL the time.

ok, I was wondering about this too. I just got a new computer(Dell) and with my old one, I could NEVER hear anyone with the voice chat and if I happen to go into a room now, I can hear them talkin. Does that mean anything??lol
Iknow my friend has a built in mic on hers, so I wondered how I'd be able to know..(duh me..lmao)
