Okay I have a question, those of you that are having your checks mailed to you, just wondering what day you got it...my son had his mailed out on a Friday and recieved it on a Monday. well, mine was mailed out march 5th which was a Friday and we still havent recieved it..thanks in advance, you guys are always a great help.

We don't get one. We haven't paid any taxes in several years being retired. Our yearly accountant told us that. But that also means we don't get any back either.

mine was supposed to be mailed march 5th and I did not get it yet - I always thought that they came on Mondays too...

Hmm, ours is supposed to be automatic deposit, as of the last bank statement we hadn't gotten it, but now we need it, my car died last wednesday.

Sure hope that they didnt lose our checks, my mail doesnt come untill the afternoon, so it seems like such a very long day too

Mine was electronically filed on 2/19 and it was put into my account on 3/15.

We got ours on a Tuesday, but that Monday was a holiday. Hope you all get them soon.

flute- Did you call your bank? When we had ours direct deposited a few years ago, I called and they told me that the amt. was deposited and I didn't have to wait for our statement.

I haven't even filed yet. In fact, I'm thinking about working on getting it put together...we have an appointment with our accountant next week. :D

if you mailed on just now on March 5th, how in the world could you expect your refund for the following Monday? give it some time or go to the irs website www.irs.gov and click where is my refund area, that will tell ya if they even got it yet.

She didn't say she mailed it out on the 5th, the IRS mailed it out on the 5th. We got ours just this past Friday, but the monday just before we received a letter saying that I forgot to add the child tax credit and they added more money to our refund. It was nice finally to get a big refund instead fo having to pay.

Hope you all get yours soon-I mailed mine in (snail-mail) on Feb.17 and my refund was direct deposited this a.m. I've never done it that way before, but I'm very happy that I got it this fast and I'll DD it again next year.

Wen filed online on Feb. 29th....was direct deposited today 3/12.... great way to start the weekend!

For those that are getting direct deposit, what IRS says on their site is the exact date it'll be deposited. Mine was scheduled on their site for 3/12 and according to my bank it was deposited 3/12.
