Any DFACS workers here? I need advice on some procedures

There is a child in my family that we suspect of being molested-my mom talked to a caseworker today. I'd like info on exactly how they handle these cases

Call social services or the police. They will take care of it and decide whether it needs to be investigated. Usually they do especially if a child will talk to them. Good luck.

My mom talked to the social worker today-they said they would do something within 24 hrs-The one she said did it was her mom's Dad-a retired nurse(a friend of my moms)confirmed that she had been-but the kid is at her home now -not my moms-there are 3 kids(2 boys/1 girl)What I want to know is will they remove the kids from the home or just talk to them or check them there or take them to dr-and how long will it take for them to arrest the guy???
DFACS went looking for where they lived tonight but called my mom and said they could not find it-I'm very concerned about the kids and my mom too-because they know she is the one that is reported it
