I am watching 3 other kids in addition to the 2 I have at home (One is at school). Remember my vent about the friend that won't let his wife out w/o at least one kid? It's their kids. I kinda feel bad for her. She asked me last minute (other gal had to back out because of a sick kid), and I thought why not, I'm not going anywhere. So she brings them over, and asks how many I want to take. How often does she ever get out alone? Never. So I say whatever is easier for her, and she leaves all three. No biggie.

Her baby hasn't really stopped crying. I put her in the swing, and she stops for a while every now and then. She's actually quiet at the moment. I took the swing apart yesterday and was going to put it in storage. DD doesn't use it anymore. So I just popped it back together. I actually had left it up this long for this baby when she came to visit. She won't stop crying if I keep holding her, I'm not mommy.

But not only was she crying, DD was fussy, needed a nap, and DS was crying because I swat him for climbing over the gate. Too much crying!! Wait...what is that? Everyone stopped? DD is asleep, DS has switched his attention elsewhere, and the baby? Oh no, there she goes again. Must've jinxed it.

Can't wait for mommy to get back. But I'm glad to give her the break. She's getting her hair done, something that's probably never happened since she got married.

Now, time for disaster cleanup. A series of small tornados hit the living room.:p

LOL I feel for you. Everytime I baby sit I feel like I am in a day care nightmare movie. I have three kids and I usually end up with at least 2 or 3 more. :)

I want to add, I barely have the patience for my own, that's why I don't babysit full time. This friend and I switch off from time to time.

Afet I got off the computer, I made them all clean up. But her 2 oldest were right behind me trashing it up again. They almost had no clue how to pick up toys and put them in the box. Then they went into the bathroom and got into my makeup brushes. One was using one to scrub the sink, the other was scrubbing the toilet. Straight to the trash it went. Oh well, I needed new one's anyway.

But now... quiet. Ahhhhhh...

It was very good of you to give her the break. That was a very nice thing to do.
