Just checking to make sure everyone is doing good. I thought we could post some thank yous to our pals when we get something. So this is the place to do it. So far I have gotten some really nice ecards from my pal and I want to say THANK YOU!!!!! I was having a bad day one of those days and it really cheered me up. So again I say thank you.:D ;)

The person that was assigned to me has been awesome. She's been emailing me since day one of this and emails me several times a day. We even hooked up on msn chat so we could get to know each other a lil better. She's great. Thanks again Monii :D

The lady who got me is one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. We have so much in common that it's almost beyond belief. I feel like I've found a long lost friend that I've been searching for for a very long time. She never misses a day, in fact we exchange several emails a day.

I can't say much about the lady that I got for fear of giving The Big Secret away but let's just say I've been double blessed and I'm thankful to both of these wonderful women for being my Secret Pals.

How many people have not heard anything from their Secret Pal ?
I know how busy life in general is but c'mon people it takes less than 5 minutes to send an ecard and just say Hello.
Maybe if the people who haven't heard anything yet will post in this thread Monii could PM the person who got them and ask if there is a problem or if they just no longer care to do Secret Pals. If that is the case then maybe Monii can match you up with someone else.
I am having such a good time doing this that I just want everyone else to enjoy it as much as I am. :D

Just wanted to let my fellow BBS'rs know that I am VERY HAPPY with the person I got and the person who got me...
I have received e-cards,e-mails and packages from BOTH of them.
I got a nice package from the person who I have and also the person who has me got me something I have been ISO for almost a year!!!
I have talked to MY pal on the phone and hopefully will get to meet her in the summer or fall:D
I can't say enough about them and have thoroughly enjoyed doing this!

On Friday I received a very nice snail mail card, Saturday I received some address labels that my pal made for me with my favorite thing on it and then today I received a package with a nice card, some Easter candy, and the most beautiful flower pens. well I would like 2 but i dont have a computer & beings I can only get on @ the libabary when I can, cause my friend wont share hers unless shes with me, & i dont want another rude reponse also just because im new & want 2 do things, I thought this was a friendly board @ least thats what my friend told me until I got a rude response by another member 4 wanting 2 help with an RAOK.

I don't mean to be a party pooper but just thought I'd throw this out there and see what everyone else thinks.

How about wrapping up Secret Pals ? School will be starting soon and August in general is a hectic month so most people probably won't have a lot of extra time for this right now anyway.

Most of you already know that my husband has terminal cancer, I've brought him home to care for him and feel really bad that I haven't had the time to keep in contact with my Pals.

So what does everyone else think ? Should we wrap this up ?
