I still have no voice

I lost my voice last Tuesday, thought it was cuz I was coming down with a cold. Cold came and went, still a little stuffy, BUT NO VOICE!!!!!!
I still can't talk. I sound like Donald Duck sometimes. It's awful.
I couldn't yell at the TV yesterday when the Daytona 500 was on. I couldn't scream when Dale jr won. Nor could I yell today when he won.

People are getting mad at me when I don't reply but I am. They just can't hear me or understand me squeaks. Hubby is getting frustrated too. But he likes it cuz I can't yell at him.

I want my voice back. My parents and brother think it's another sympathy thing. I over heard my mom tell my dad I'm faking.
I wish I was.

((((hugs)))) Want some friendly advice? Try gargling with warm salt water. If that doesn't help take a shot of straight lemon juice. If that doesn't help eat an apple. Good luck!!!
