I shouldn't have. I knew that from the ads but I did anyway. How sad. But even more than that how scary. I almost don't even want to send my daughter to school.

How can you ever know what is going on? She came home yesterday with a scraped hand and a whole in her pants because some kid had pushed her down after getting off the bus. And today I found out one of her "friends" bonked her hard on the head for punishment? She had no idea what for and said she hadn't been hitting the other girl. She didn't seem to think it was that big a deal and didn't want to talk about it but jeez how do you make sure your kids are safe?

I watched it and it was one of the saddest shows I've ever watched. I cried at the end. I guess it was so sad because it was so realistic. Kids were mean when I was a kid, but nothing like what kids today have to go through.

I'm with the majority here, I also cried. It scared me though because it hit soooo close to home for me.My 8 y/o is always saying how he doesnt want to go to school becuase the kids are mean to him on the bus and that he's a loser and nobody like him. My goodness, after I saw the show, I really wouldnt care if he ever went to school again.

I cried at the end too. How OLD were these kids? The girl at the stable didnt look any older than my 10 yr old. I couldnt beleive they were talking about "hummers" and porno and stuff. That poor kid, he just liked Lisa and was trying to "be cool" when he called her a "Dawg"(NOT a "dog" like she thought). I know kids can be mean, but that was AWFUL! I guess I live a sheltered life.

I sat down this morning and had a talk with my 10 yr old (he watched it too) and asked him if anyone was being mean to him and told him that if they were, to ALWAYS tell me, even if he thought Id get mad. I promised him I would do everything within my power to make things different, but he had to tell me first.

Last nights show just sent chills down my spine and scared me.:(

CP, I'm doing the same thing when my son gets home from school today. I think he thought he was in trouble, I told him when he gets home we need to talk about something. I was thinking the kids were about 12 or so, I dont know if they really ever said. I know at one point they said when Eric was 11 is when they started to notice changes in him.

I KNOW, I JUST ABOUT FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR WHEN HE TOLD THE OTHER KID "I HEARD SHE GAVE YOU A HUMMER" BUT REMEMBER,THEY CONSIDER THIS SHOW A LATE NIGHT SHOW PG-13,SO MOST KIDS DON'T SEE IT.BUT IT WAS A SHOW THAT SEEMS WAS AN EYE OPENER FOR SOME OF US....WE SAT OUR KIDS DOWN AND TALKED.

It was very sad. Sad also because that kind of thing happens probably more than people realize (being bullied at school). I was just shocked at those girls. I wish they would have shown those girls receiving some sort of punishment though.

Without a trace is a awesome show. I cried at the end of that last night to. I cried at the end of Survivor to. Must have been a crying night LOL. Scary what kids go through, but I think we all have been bullied at one time or another when we were kids but I am showing my age here but I dont remember girls being so mean, maybe catty remarks but not actual physical violence.

Me either. I just figured it was because I went to a TINY high school and was with the same bunch of kids(mainly) from 1st grade to Graduation. I have read about some of the bullying that happens to kids nowadays and it just seems so unreal to me.
