Yesterday darling Robert got some coffee out of the vending machine at work. Unfortunately he ended up with a "surprise" in it. A cockroach!!! If that would have been me, I would have thrown the BIGGEST screaming mimi. Thank God, I don't drink coffee.

That is so gross. One time my family went out for pizza and one of my kids went to get a refill of soda, but when he put ice into his cup from the machine he noticed something dark in one of the cubes. It was a frozen cockroach. :eek:

Oh NASTY! I would have thrown a fit too! And probably wouldn't have drunk any more coffee for awhile! I would think of that roach everytime I took a sip! :(

BLECH! I worked at this little lunch place once as a hostess, and I brought people their drinks. I went to get tea one time and it wasn't coming out, so I opened the top to look in to see if they needed to make more and there were cockroaches all in it floating on top. *cringe* I don't know how they stayed in business. The worse part is that it's a really nice restuarant and a lot of people hold wedding receptions there... and no one knows. Ew. I still can't get tea at restuarants.

We ordered chinese food once and I don't know how I noticed it among all the mixed up vegetables but there it was with it's legs up in the air, a roach, needless to say I never ordered chinese food again.

Potato salad -

Wondered when they started making potato salad with raisins, and I don't like raisins, so was eating around it.....then saw what it really was.............


The offered us a coupon for another free lunch!

One time I was in Burger King and they have self serve beverages. I wanted to have tea and there was no water coming out. It was breakfast time and it wasn't busy, so I thought it was strange that the water was finished already. I have no idea if there was a roach in there, but that was all I thought was the cause. I told the cashier and she gave me OJ instead. I still won't get coffee or tea in that place.

A friend told me once that they had got this really good jam somewhere, and they practically lived on toast and jam for about a week. One day her niece said something about the toaster (friend didn't know you were supposed to clean them out from time to time), so she fiddled with it and found a dead rat in it. She just about threw up knowing her family had eaten all that toast. Now everytime I'm wiping off the counter near the toaster, I think of the rat.
