Is there a problem with the forum?

Is it my computer, or is there something wrong with the site? It is going so sloooow and I am at times getting page can't be displayed.

It's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!
Not only do I get "page cannot be displayed" many times but sometimes the pages don't load completely or have a bunch of nonsense when it loads.
I know that I don't get by here nearly as often anymore. I simply don't have the time to wait for the pages to load. :(
I sure hope things get fixed soon.

It's VERY slow and there are tons of errors. I wish it would hurry up and get fixed :(

I don't think it's just the forum. Every page and site I try ro go to is very slow. People everywhere are having the same problems, and they all think it's that site they are at, but after seeing the complaints on so many sites, I know it's not my 'puter. I have a feeling it's that virus. I guess you don't have to be infected to be affected.

This is the only site that I have noticed the slowness and the errors. It has done this before and was fixed so hopefully it will be fixed again this time. BTW, I do have cable modem but it downloads like a dial up, only with errors many times. :(

I have cable modem too. It acts like my old dialup. It causes me to be stressed out when something won't load. We have an online newssite in our hometown and a local forum. I love going there. It is always that way, but I have to pick up the local gossip. Just like I do here. I am addicted to freebies. Maybe they will find out what the problem is and get it fixed.

I REALLY DID. MY MAN ASKED ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER, WHY IS IT SO SLOW. I EVEN CALLED RR, THINKING IT WAS THEIR SOFTWARE. lol Glad I read this, now I know its not my puter. It upped and fixed itself earlier ~ strangest thing I've ever seen ~ and then I come here and its so ssslllooowwww and I think~ OH NO~ NOT AGAIN! lol Hope they get it fixed soon!

I am not one to complain, but there has to be something going on with the BBS site. I wait for 2-3 minutes for pages to load or it "times out" before it loads. It will probably take 5 minutes for this response to go through...
I thought maybe it was our provider, but everthing else is coming up as fast as usual. (cable modem)

Any thoughts?

I've just tried to fix a few things, and it seems to be running smoother RIGHT NOW, but I have no idea what is causing this problem. I'll ask our techs to move the forums to another server on Monday, so hopefully that will solve the problem. We'll see.

i am just curious as i was thinking reading this thread....could bbs be bogged down from all the replies that have been archived in the past?? Could it be getting slowed down looking through all the past posts and pages?? I am not very smart in this area so i was just curious if this could cause something like bbs is experiencing??
