Get this bad sour kind of taste out my mouth. It caused by the medicene I have been taking. I have never drank so much gatorade, water or koolaid in my entire life trying to get rid of this bad taste. I tried gum , mouthwash. Nothing seems to help:rolleyes:

Does anyone have an idea:) Thanks

Tic Tacs, Wurther's butterscotch hard candies, Lifesavers Cremesavers hard candies. Good luck. Hubby had that same crap when he was on so many meds. Made is mouth feel like the inside of a tin can.

I was only going to suggest mints.. maybe the bigger ones like breathsavers? i think that's what they're called.

Sometimes Slim Jim jerky treats helped. It got so bad for him sometimes, I thought he was ready to eat the dogfood for a different variety:) Sometimes a few spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream helped. Sorry but you probably don't have those in the house either. Good luck my dear:)

Have you tried grapefruit juice? When I'm sick and have to take cough syrup, the stuff leaves an awful taste in my mouth. I've tried everything to get rid of it and the only thing that's worked so far is red grapefruit juice. Pink would prolly work too but the red tastes better. :)

Thanks I tried the lime juice and salt. The mints just make it worse. I guess I will go drink my second glass of grapefruit juice

Be careful that the Grapefruit juice is allowed with your meds

Wine tasters always eat some cheese or a piece of bread to clean their palette between different wines. Don't know if it would work for meds or not, but worth a try. At least it is something most have on hand. :-) Good luck in any case. Oh, after thought. 4 year old Granddaughter swears Sunny D is the only thing that takes nasty medicine taste away, but she is only 4. Who knows. :-)
