Update, those who have IBD can you help me out?

I had my colonoscopy today, just got back (yep, still feelin' woosy) and they said it looked like I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease. They also removed some polyps, and are testing them for cancer.

Anyone who has it can you post what it's like and how you are treated if you don't mind?

I just found out, IBD can be Chrohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.......

My SO was diagnosed with Chrone's disease about a year ago.He's 26.

I hope everything is okay.Please let us know what the docs say when your tests come back.

Well, tests came back, that I had non specific colitis. Got those results about 2 weeks ago. Now, today I just got out of the hospital because I was so dehydrated from you know what happens with colitis. Uh, yuck. This is not fun.
