My crummy mailman vent

delivered a letter today that he had delivered to another address (the wrong one) AGAIN today. This is the second time in two weeks. I know he did this, because on the envelope it had some comment scribbled out. Little does he know that I know the people at the address he's delivering to. Same number, two blocks away. Last week, I got a Christmas card that had been sent a week before Christmas.
I wish this jerk would just retire already. I've complained at the post office, but they're so secure in their jobs, they don't do a darn thing about him.
I wonder if this is why we haven't gotten my DH's w-2...grrrrr.

Sorry you have a bad mailman. I am sooooo lucky to have a great mailman, he is such a neat guy. Hope yours retires soon!

The envelope we got today had some tax papers in it. I just wonder what else is out there roaming around.
What really stinks is our sub is terrific. The entire neighborhood loves him. I'd throw this guy a retirement party if he'd just go away. lol :p

Not getting our W-2's here, but seem to be getting the ones for all the former residents from the past 5 years. Nothing to do with the mailman.

I know how you feel! I have a mailman who is like senile or something he always puts mail that doesn't belong to me in my box. I have had several things I was expecting that I never got so most likely he stuffed my mail in someone else's box! It just infuriates me that I have to drive to the post office about twice a week to return mail that isn't mine! It really is aggrevating.

our mail lady just delivers when she feels like it, if she doesnt feel like working that day we dont get maol and complaining about it doesnt help, the p.o. never gets back to me.
and we get other peoples mail every day, I think she gives us all the leftovers in her hand at the end of the day.

Oh man can I relate. The guy who lives behind us has the same first name as my husband. So we have the same address (except unit #s) and same first name. We get his mail and put it by his front door almost daily, by this simple logic you would think he gets our mail too but if he does we NEVER get it. I tell my family not to even send us stuff anymore cause I don't know if I'll even get it! The post office says they are supposed to read the addresses from the bottom up, instead of name first, but you sure can't tell it by the way our mail man is.

The neighbors all wait for him to finally finish our block and then exchange mail. Half the time he's backing up to put something in a mailbox that he misplaced in another pile. We watch him! I don't know what he'd do if he couldn't drive his route. At least he's getting the mail to us by 5:30 these days. For awhile there, it was almost 7 p.m. before we got mail.
Sounds like it's time for a support group for mail carrier issues.;)

Thats ok, my mailman is delivering everyones mail to me, my mother in laws that lives about 10 miles away, and anyone with my last name from this area, i told them i had a us cellular rebate coming back and what name it would be, as i got my phone through my aunt, and her name comes first, well they sent it back, took another 2 months to get it, so I am very sympathetic to your situation and hope that it starts getting better for you.
